What is a “look”?

At Columbia Headshot Pros, a “look” can be one of two scenarios. The first scenario regards a change in the background and lighting setup. If you would like a headshot taken against a muslin backdrop and then an additional headshot in front of a white backdrop, that would be considered two “looks”. Similarly, the second scenario involves outfit changes. Each outfit change is considered it’s own “look”. So if you would like three outfit changes, that would be three looks.

How long will it take for you to create my headshot?

Individual sessions usually take 20 to 30 minutes. Some packages with more looks and outfit changes can take longer than that. We will shoot different looks, review the images and shoot some more. Don’t think of it as a quick school photo. Sometimes it takes a little bit of time to get comfortable in front of the camera.

For on-location group shoots, depending on group sizes, headshot session lengths can vary.

How do I pick which images I want?

We will review the images together on a laptop at the session. If we haven’t quite nailed the images you want for your headshot, we will shoot some more to ensure the headshots you choose are perfect.

How do you deliver headshot session photos?

After your images have been processed and retouched, you will be sent a link to an online gallery where you can download them.
